Hair Salon Assistant – Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

We are Glasshouse Salon – London’s leading sustainable hair salon that specialises in natural and organic products. We are on the look out for a talented salon assistant to join our close-knit team.

Who are we

Glasshouse Salon is situated in the creative community of Netil House, Hackney. Opened 8 years ago, we’ve made a name for ourselves as a leading figure in the green beauty industry. We specialise in modern, uncomplicated cuts and colour using only natural and organic products, minimising the use of harsh chemicals.

The salon is the brainchild of Olivia Crighton, a hair stylist and colour expert originally from New Zealand, who has worked with i-D, Tank, Vogue and many others. We pride ourselves on operating using the most sustainable methods possible, and offering our clients a unique experience in an un-intimidating environment.

We are also a dedicated retail destination for natural and organic beauty, stocking everything from toxin-free makeup to botanical skincare, both in the salon and online at Glasshouse Shop.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a creative salon assistant to join the Glasshouse team. This is a unique and rare opportunity to kickstart your career in the hair industry, receiving innovative and specialised training in a salon that practices what it preaches. We put hair condition at the forefront of everything we do and equip our junior staff with all the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-changing industry.
