Studio Make-up Artist – Part-time, Contract

Flawless Makeover and Photography Studios one of the north’s leading studios which have been transforming our customers with Makeup and photography for over Fourteen Years .

We are looking for an Experienced Make-up Artists/Hair stylists to join our award winning friendly team in our luxury studio in the City Centre of Manchester.

This positions offered includes working One to Two days per week between Wednesday – Sunday, which includes weekend availability and is contracted on a Freelance Basis within our busy studio environment.

There will be an initial interview and make-up trial prior to offer.

The ideal candidate must be flexible with working hours and days and must have some MAC make-up in Kit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Provide an individual Consultation with your customer on arrival to advise on colours, blending techniques etc.
• To use your talent to create varied evening looks for the customer with full make-up application from natural to dramatic depending on their needs and expectations
• Basic Hair Styling skills, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience of roller setting and using GHDs
• Be able to work under pressure and to set timelines providing a make-over for approx 6 clients per day within a set time frame
• Be confident in working with a wide age group, mainly between 12-50 year old females
• To demonstrate a professional outgoing manner at all times and the ability to interact with people on all levels in a friendly and bubbly manner
• be able to provide confidence to the the customer during their make-over, whilst providing professional make-up tips

You will need to have

Minimum Level Two Make-up qualifications. One year’s studio experience or similar.

You must posses excellent customer service skills and an ability to consult with your customers to ensure the smooth running of the day and providing exactly the look they are after from the makeover and photography.

You will have a naturally outgoing personality, positive energy, a professional outlook and be a great team player.

Experience in a fast paced environment is ESSENTIAL.
