About the tutor

Coming from a very experienced background in Hairdressing; throughout my career I have managed to obtain a considerable number of qualifications and work experience. I started my journey within the industry at the age of 19, where I studied to secure my Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in Hairdressing. Upon gaining these qualifications, I worked in a few different salons until finally opening my own Hairdressing and Beauty business, whilst also studying for qualifications in the Nail and Beauty industry.

In 2011, I decided that owning a business was not the right choice for me as I had a passion and drive to pursue a career in Teaching. I managed to achieve my Level 5 diploma in Teaching, my assessor qualification and my IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification, thereafter. I have since been working as a teacher in Hairdressing as well as an IQA assessor, primarily at Candor for the last 4 years.

Teaching is my passion and witnessing my students succeed and excel in their careers is what motivates me and encourages me to work harder, especially when receiving heartening feedback from my students.
