Makeup Artist

A renowned style agency, based in Buckinghamshire, is currently seeking a creative hair stylist for assignment, film, and editorial commissions.

The candidate must have substantial international experience, have an established reputation, working for high-profile advertising clients and magazines. The candidate must also have experience in fashion shows in Global Fashion Weeks, produce a creative concept for the look, brief their team of assistants, manage the team, and work with 20-30 models to gain the required look within the tight time schedules a catwalk show demands.

The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of skin prep, skincare and cosmetics. The ability and knowledge to discuss a brief with the photographer / client prior to a shoot, research and prep different looks and then go to the studio and carry out brief of potentially up to 10 different looks successfully is a must. Session Make-up also demands the ability to work with all skin types and ages. The candidate must have experience working with world-renowned photographers and publications. We require that the candidate has good relationships with world-renowned product ranges.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy (preferred)
