English for Level 2 Award in the Art of Dressing Hair
Entry requirements
You will need:
- An interest in learning the English language
- An interest in Anatomy & physiology
- Good communication and people skills that enhance working with clients.

- The art of dressing hair
- Active speaking
- Listening to a wide range of audio materials
- Practical grammar
- Expanding vocabulary

Duration and Delivery
This is a 2 weeks course delivered 15 hours a week.
Assessment methods
Theory exams are via on line assessments (ICT based). Practical based assessments.

Require stationary such as x2 folders, clip board, paper. You will need a Nail Technologies kit and you will need to purchase a uniform.

- Hairdressing consultation support for colleagues
- Monitor health & safety practice in the salon
- Cut women’s hair to create a variety of looks
- Style and dress hair using variety of techniques
- Colour hair to create a variety of looks
