What jobs can you do with beauty?

You will be surprised to know that the beauty industry in the UK is vast and you will find different job roles that are quite distinct from each other and interesting.  As you are completing your diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, you may now have come to a realization of what you actually want to become. Is it a hairdresser or a makeup artist or a massage therapist? One of the best things about the beauty industry is that it has a lot to offer. Whether you want to work at reputed spas, hotels, health clubs, salons, or want to start your own business, there are different career prospects and qualifications that you can choose to pursue your dream career in beauty. 

The following are the jobs that you can do with beauty: 

#1 Hairstylist 

A hairstylist performs a wide range of treatments, such as cutting, colouring, shampooing, and styling of hair. They also advise the clients on hair care best practices. 

#2 Nail Artist 

Nail artists are professionals who work exclusively on nails and offer treatments like polishing, pedicures, manicures, and nail extensions. 

#3 Makeup Artist 

A makeup artist offers facials, facial massages, and makeup applications as part of their services. They also provide special services like bridal makeup, etc. 

#4 Massage Therapist 

A massage therapist uses hands and other equipment to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. Massage therapists are high in demand given the lifestyle people are choosing these days. 

Apart from these, there are niche-specific jobs as well like esthetician and colourist. With experience and some funding, you can choose to become a salon/spa owner as well.
